FAQ’s
Q: Do we need a Performing Rights Licence to perform Flower Power! in musical/dramatic form?
A:
Yes you do need a Performance Licence from Flower Power Book. (If you perform a work which involves spoken dialogue or narrative, movement and drama, a Performing Rights Licence (PRL) is needed from the publisher of that work.) The Flower Power Book PRL protects your school or organisation against any infringement of copyright. Please see our licensing and copyright section for more complete information.
Q:My school holds a PRS licence. Do I still need a performing licence?
A:
Yes! The PRS licence does not cover the performance of Flower Power! the musical. A Performing Rights Licence (PRL) is required from Flower Power Book. Please refer to our copyright and licensing for more information.
Q: How do I apply for a performance licence?
A: Performance licences are automatically included with some teaching option purchases. Otherwise, a performance and/or recording licence can be ordered on our product page.
Q: Can you invoice my school?
A:
Payment for all packages including access to downloadable materials must be paid for debit or credit card during checkout.
However, if you are an LEA school within the UK we can offer you the option to be invoiced if you wish to purchase bundles of books. If you choose to be invoiced for this purpose, please make sure that your payment reaches us within 14 days of the invoice date.
For all other customers, payment must be made at the time of ordering.
Q: Do you offer inspection copies?
A:
Unfortunately Flower Power Book cannot offer inspection copies of the book, musical score or downloadable resources. We do, however, aim to provide you with as much information as possible in order to help you make your choice. Each product has a description, a ‘Look Inside!’ facility or click to view an enlarged image of sample resources. Excerpts of all songs and instrumental music can be heard, and samples of the Flower Power! musical score and script can be seen. The musical score contains a formal play script and suggestions for performance.
Q: Can we buy replacement CD’s separately?
A:
The musical score is sold with a CD. Please get in touch at info@flowerpowerbook.co.uk if you would like to purchase additional CD’s for your school.
Q: How flexible are the numbers of parts in Flower Power! the musical?
A:
Flower Power! is suitable for use with any number of children, great or small. Likewise, there is complete flexibility to have as many different characters from nature, for example, spiders, snails, bumble bees in addition to the flowers, ladybirds, butterflies, birds and watering cans.
Q: Can we change the story, script or music?
A:
Dramatic improvisation and
creativity is encouraged at Flower Power Book. Small changes to the script are
permissible. However you do need to obtain our permission for substantial
changes or if you wish to alter song lyrics or the music. Please contact us at infor@flowerpowerbook.co.uk if

Q: Is my school allowed to make DVD or sound recordings?
A:
Yes, but the appropriate licence must be obtained from Flower Power Book; please let Flower Power Book know how many copies of DVDs or sound recordings you intend to make, or have made for you. Please contact us at info@flowerpowerbook.co.uk for further information.
Q:Do you accept returns?
A:
Flower Power Book cannot accept returns unless a product is discovered to be faulty upon delivery and we have been informed of this straight away. In the unlikely event that a book or CD is shown to be faulty, please contact us us immediately.
Q:How long will my order take to arrive?
A:
All orders are processed in the ‘order’ that they are received. We aim to post your order within 2 working days of receiving. We can post your order by first class within the UK, or by first class signed for delivery. Please refer to our delivery information for further details.
