Flower Power Book is for children everywhere – the child of today, the child within us and for anyone who has responsibility for the care and nurture of children.

We are a charity which provides educational resources to improve children’s emotional health and wellbeing. We support the work of teachers in primary schools, families, children and young people through community events and raise funds to support other charitable organisations who work for the wellbeing of children when we can.

This project is centred around the picture storybook, Flower Power! and its accompanying set of original songs and instrumental music:

With hand-drawn illustrations Flower Power! is a picture storybook with a strong message, and a very happy ending!

‘The little flower lives in the corner of the garden. Can she survive the dangers that she meets there?’

The story is about love and encouragement, resilience and perseverance; it questions how we care for the world, how we care for each other – how we live our lives – in a way that is easily understood by young children and adults alike. 

For Primary Schools and Home Education we provide:

• Stretch, Smile and Grow PSHE, curriculum enrichment, emotional health and wellbeing resources for children aged 4 to 11 years.
• Time saving materials for teachers, suggestions for activities and worksheets for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Flower Power! makes an ideal whole school Community Project.
• Flower Power! enhances Forest Schools activities.
• Resources Garden: If you are a parent, grandparent, carer or friend, sign in to explore our free resources to help enrich your ‘parent and child’ reading time, talk about emotional health, inspire you to enjoy ‘the great outdoors’ together or give you ideas for some art and craft fun!
• Professionals Page: A referral service providing books and resources for Family Support Services and Social Workers in the UK to pass on to children and families whom they believe would benefit.
